Our training packages are designed bespoke to your business and can span from 1/2day through to a full week or more, dependent upon the level of detail you require. Designing the training package relevant to your requirements is included in the cost of our training. Every course is written bespoke for your business; this ensures there are no generic seminars or irrelevant topics. Examples of courses are below, but do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how we can help you.
Customers who have had a CE Marking or PUWER inspection carried out by our engineers will be entitled to a free training course of 1 day duration at our new training facilities. Seminars with duration of ½ day can be provided on an expenses only basis to any client. If you have the need for longer training, just give us a call and we can chat about how we can help.
Safe use of Machinery (PUWER)
A course designed to give users of machinery the knowledge to use and maintain their machinery safely in accordance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations. Also to assist them in when purchasing new and second hand equipment by developing awareness of the manufactures obligations under EU Directives in particular the processes involved in CE Marking (Regulation 10).
System integrators and Complex Assemblies
Complex Assemblies are combined machinery that incorporates two or more interconnected machines for specific applications. We will ensure that you, the integrators and the designers of ‘partly completed machinery’, have sufficient knowledge to integrate machines and to declare compliance for the Complex Assembly as a whole.
Application of Functional Safety to Machinery Systems
This course gives users, engineers and designers of safety related control systems the knowledge and experience to develop compliant and validated “Functional Safety Systems” in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1, EN62061 and EN61508. We demonstrate practical methods of verification and validation of systems.
Low Voltage and Control System Panels
This course is entirely adaptable to your level of technical knowledge. Both for simple assessment to full design and manufacturing of compliant systems and panels to Regulation 18 of PUWER and the Low Voltage Directive.
The new Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU) has now been published. This will come fully into force on 20 April 2016.
We provide you with the knowledge & competence to design and manufacture control panels compliant with European Harmonised Standards (EN 60204-1:2006 +A1 2009, prEN 60204-1:2014), European Union Directives and good engineering practice.
